- Combine experimental and computational approaches in your research, ideally at the interface of biochemistry and molecular genetics
- Engage in innovative research in the fields of biochemistry, molecular genetics, computational biochemistry
- Research focus on big data analytics (omics technology), modelling and digitalization as well as bioinformatics
- Teaching students
- Take a pivotal role in the new MSc program “Quantitative Life Science”
Qualifikation
- PhD degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field
- Strong publication record in relevant international journals
- Documented research activities using modern technologies applied in biochemistry and molecular genetics
- Experience in the acquisition of Third-Party funding
- Experience in successful teaching in international and diverse environments, with a demonstratable interest in applying innovative teaching and learning approaches
- Intercultural experience and competence
- Responsible, self-motivated person able to work independently and as a part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Eligible for an ERC starting or consolidator grant
